On behalf of officers, teachers and students of the International School, we would like to welcome you to the site of our International School website
The founding of the International School – Thai Nguyen University marked a turning point in the development of international development cooperation in scientific training and research at Thai Nguyen University. The founding has also contributed to developing qualified staff for international integration in order to develop social-economics of Vietnam. This is an important education strategy towards the integration of international university community, giving a chance to Vietnamese and international students to access advanced training and research program imported from world leading universities.
The International School of Thai Nguyen University (ISTNU) was established in 2011 by the virtue of the Resolution which was passed and approved during the 18th Thai Nguyen Provincal Congress and the Resolution of Thai Nguyen University Party Congress (term 2010-2015).
Its foundation concretized the guidelines of the Government of Vietnam, though the direction of the Ministy of Education and Training, to enhance international cooperation in education development in order to produce globally competitive human resources which will meet the needs and requirements of the world integration processfor the purposes of economic and social advancement.

As the youngest training unit under Thai Nguyen University, the International School (ISTNU) was established in 2011 in order to concretize the guidelines of the Government of Vietnam, though the direction of the Minitry of Education and Training, to enhance international cooperation in education development that produce globally competitive human resources which will meet the needs and requirements of the world integration process for the purposes of economic and social advancement. The ISTNU is mandated to implement Undergraduate Study Programs in the fields of Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Management, Economics and Internatinal Relations, though “Imported Advanced Programs” form leading university universities of international standard.
