After the storm comes warmth, ISTNU united in overcoming the flood

The recent Matmo storm caused severe damage across Thai Nguyen City, leaving many areas flooded and students’ dormitories and houses affected. Amid the hardship, the spirit of solidarity and compassion once again shone brightly within the community of the International School – Thai Nguyen University (ISTNU).

Braving the rain and mud, lecturers and students of ISTNU joined hands to clean up flooded areas, wash and dry furniture and belongings, and help restore order to homes and dormitories. Warm meals, bottles of clean water, and heartfelt words of encouragement were shared with students in dorms and those living off campus who faced difficulties.

Images of teachers in raincoats cleaning side by side with students, and groups of volunteers going from room to room to lend a hand, have become touching symbols of unity, empathy, and kindness – the core values that define the International School.

The storm has passed, but the love and care remain. These simple yet meaningful actions reflect the resilient and compassionate spirit of the ISTNU community – a true family where everyone stands together through challenges, making the International School a place of warmth, strength, and humanity.
